How I Became a Full-Time REALTOR and Real Estate Blogger
I enjoy telling my story. When I was a in High School I really picked up and acquired a passion for learning and speaking SPANISH. I got a BA in Spanish and then got a teaching credential and taught 3 years of High School Spanish, including ESL, and even Adult Education. Teaching was really cool, but I could not handle the politics and little pay. In 2003 I left teaching and got a SALES job at Homes.com. I killed it. I called REALTORS and sold them SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION ( SEO), Advertisements, and websites. It was awesome and I felt like I was on the cutting edge of technology and real estate, which were the wild wild west days of the internet. In 2006 I got my real estate license and in 2008 I went full-time real estate, which was when the market TANKED, and most agents got out of the business. Guess how I managed to survive, and sometimes even thrive? Yep. Internet Marketing.
